Even from a young age, blake was more of a mamaβs boy than anything. Even if it was something that his father wanted, if his mother said she would also want it, he would eventually give in. a boys love for his mother knows no bounds, and certainly blakeβs admiration for his own was no different. Even though he spent countless years upsetting the delicate balance of prosperity in his household, he would eventually learn that his mother's wishes were best to be followed. Despite the shortcomings of his attitude, blake and his father did get along on the rare occasion. They bonded over fishing and flying, two things that blake still genuinely enjoys doing to this day. They would head out on trips together in high spirits, bond while they camped and sailed, and come back with a new relationship stronger than before. It was really when he was older that they would begin to drift because of their vastly different belief systems. Blake wanted to join the armed forces, specifically the air force. His father didnβt want him in the military, and neither did his mother. While he wanted to join just to spite his dad, his mom would eventually talk him out of it and talk him into following the same path she did and go to med school. He wanted to compromise, say he would only go to med school if he could be a paleontologist...this warranted big belly laughs from the entire family. Eventually he gave in and went through his entire undergrad at ucla. It wasnβt until his second semester of grad school that he finally tossed his hat in. this was no path for him and he couldnβt continue down this road of misery just to appease his father. So he lied. Blake lied to his parents for the entire semester until spring that year when he drunkenly told the entire family that he was a drop out and taking a gap year. Of course he wasnβt just taking a gap year and had no intentions of ever going back to school. So his parents kicked him out, told him to do it all on his own until he figured out the path he wanted to go down. Disappointing his mother was probably one of the hardest things he had ever done, but she eventually came around to his reasoning behind it. He hated med school and didnβt want to waste anymore of their money or the schools time on something he wasnβt particularly passionate about. A couple of years went by, but eventually he was able to ingratiate himself back into his mother and fathers lives and become part of the family again. Jump cut to his first year working on his fathers political campaign as punishment. In order to pay back what he wasted on school, blake was forced to work with his father. He sucked it up and did it without complaint, and the real kicker was that he had a knack for it. While heβs not working as closely with his father anymore, he is still working hard to earn the manβs respect back. Since he was the fallen prince of the jarlson empire, he is doing what he can to fix his mistakes. He will forever stand by his reasoning behind dropping out and knows his family will eventually come around to it entirely.  thor is the blood-son of Odin, All-Father of the Asgardians, and Jord, who was also known as Gaea, the goddess who was one of the Elder Gods. in created a cave in Norway where Jord gave birth to Thor. Months after the infant Thor was weaned, Odin brought him to Asgard to be raised. Odin's wife, the goddess Frigga, acted as Thor's mother from that time onward. Not until many decades later did Thor learn that Jord was his birth mother.
